Layer build-up
2K PRO works with its own binder; the condition of the substrate determines the primer. Its components must not be mixed with those of the 1K system.
Dusty, damaged or cracked substrates must be repaired first. The system may only be applied to a stable, load-bearing substrate.

2K PRO PU Primer, or the rapid-curing PU primer if faster curing is needed. If ground moisture or dampness is suspected, VAPOGRIP EP 2K water-based epoxy primer is used instead of a PU primer.

The marble aggregate and the two-component PU binder are mixed together on site. Pot life: 45–50 minutes.
PU BinderSpread at a thickness of at least 8 mm. The surface is open-pored and water-permeable, so it does not replace waterproofing.

2K PRO is mixed on site: marble aggregate and a two-component aliphatic PU binder. It is an open-pored, water-permeable covering, at least 8 mm thick. 1K is factory pre-mixed and water-based, and gives a closed surface with a topcoat. The components of the two systems must not be mixed.
