Wall–floor junctions and inside corners are the most critical points of any waterproofing. Here the tape helps prevent cracking and leaks.

Installation step by step
The flexible center absorbs the movement of the connection, while the mesh edges are embedded in the liquid waterproofing layer.

Prepare the surface
The surface of the connection must be free of oil, dirt and dust, sound and fully cured. Repair defects first, for example with VIRANIX REPAIR 800 R4.

Apply the first coat
Apply the first coat of liquid waterproofing to the connection.

Embed the tape
While the coat is still fresh, place the tape into it, press it down with a brush and embed the mesh edges.

Apply further coats
Once the first coat has set, the next coats can be applied straight away.
Figyelem The tape always works embedded in liquid waterproofing; on its own it is not a complete waterproofing.

What is it for?
For waterproofing connections, corners and joints, embedded in liquid waterproofing. At wall–floor junctions and in inside corners it helps prevent cracking and leaks.
Does it waterproof on its own?
No. The tape always works embedded in liquid waterproofing; on its own it is not a complete waterproofing.
Is it suitable for expansion joints?
It can be used for construction and expansion joints on walls and floors, but for expansion joints with large movement use the DILITAPE expansion joint tape.
How much do I need?
1 m of tape per linear meter of connection. Sold by the linear meter.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, it is UV-resistant (min. 500 hours) and can also be used for outdoor connections.
Is it resistant to chemicals?
It is resistant to diluted acids and alkalis.
